Question 1 – Tell us about your family.

The interviewer wants to know about your background. A candidate should be prepared with the best 4-5 liner summary for this question. The answer should mention if you are married or single, what does your spouse, siblings and parents do.

Tip – Showcase the educational qualification of your family members, unless it is not worth mentioning.

Question 2 – What are your personal interests?

All interviewers ask for hobbies or personal interests. This question is best answered by a brief about your interest, it gives a hint to your personality and life away from work.

Tip – Mention those hobbies where you have won some laurels to create a good impression on the interviewer.

Question 3 – Where do you see yourself five years from now?

The interviewer wants to check your ambition. In today’s competitive world, one is expected to be tad ambitious, hence think of a desirable position in your mind and tell that to the interviewer. If you are a glib talker, you can relate that to present job discussion and put a reason how this job can help you realise the dream.

Tip – Highlight your personal strengths like good analytical skills or communication skills etc and roll it up with the fact that you can gradually reach that job and level.

Questions 4 – What are your weakness?                                              

Interviewer expects the job seeker to point things that he is not good at. We all have weakness and staying quiet will look dumb or seem too righteous.

Tip – Say something related to your personal traits like, at times I tend to take on all finishing edges of the project myself ending up overworking myself.
